Birthday Poem – Millie….Ninety nine, Not out!
Millie….Ninety nine, Not out!
It’s nearly three months since I’ve seen my mum But I know she’s not waiting, for me to come.
For Millie, forgetting, has been quite a blessing She won’t realize what she has been missing.
Mum won’t feel locked down, she won’t feel alone No fear about shopping, or leaving her home.
No feeling afraid, as she’s not aware.
She’s surrounded by love and has wonderful care,
We’ll Skype on her birthday….now ninety nine I know that the blessings, will all be mine.
She won’t understand, and may not even know me, But I will be happy, with the smile she will show me.
