Newsletter Autumn 2014
Welcome to our autumn newsletter. They say time flies by when you are having fun and we certainly have had fun this summer with lots of events for residents to enjoy. Several brave residents enjoyed close encounters with the exotic reptiles at our recent wildlife morning with Phil from Jaws n’ Claws – look away now if you don’t like snakes!
Be a Buddy!
You are invited to come along on Friday 19 September when we are hosting an open morning with a difference. We’re looking for volunteers to become Buddies – people who would enjoy sharing their interests and life stories with our residents. The open morning will be held jointly with Hazeldene House and we particularly welcome friends and family of our residents from both care homes. See our website for more details about our Buddy project.
Graham Care Awards
Do you know a member of staff who is going the extra mile to provide the highest levels of care within our home? We are now seeking nominations from families and friends of residents who want to recognise staff who are excelling at their job and making a real difference to the lives of our residents. Please ask me for a nomination form, email me, or download it here. We are also sending nominations forms out in the post or you can fill in the online form here. Nominations close 30 September.
