Cornford House is a purpose built home in extensive and peaceful grounds on the outskirts of Pembury Village, near Tunbridge Wells. The team are well-equipped to deliver 24-hour nursing care in high quality, affordable accommodation, so that residents can have a home for life. We cater to a variety of care needs, both physical frailty and dementia type illnesses, with a dedicated, separated area in the building for each of these type needs.
The home consists solely of Care Suites. These are larger rooms than those found in traditional nursing homes, designed with residents and their families in mind. Each room has its own living room and kitchen space, encouraging independence as well as family and friends’ visits.

Residents at Cornford House reflect the local demographic. We facilitate families to benefit from Local Authority or NHS funding, where private funding may not be an option, making our services accessible to the whole community.
We are committed to providing vibrant day service for our residents that is centred around both the preferences and needs of our residents.

Every year, we recognise the exceptional care of the people who work at Cornford House. We identify those who go above and beyond, by giving an award to two individuals, one voted for by relatives, and one voted for by our Registered Manager. This year, we congratulate Readmore and Angie!
